• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

    Right angle drill attachment

I can't recommend any, but I may have one knocking about that I can lend you if you want? If you want one to keep for future then keep looking, but if you just want to get this job done then I can hunt out what I have (hopefully...). Let me know.

    Probably Bye for now...

It's not just that with Bezos, it's his/Amazon's exploitation of affiliate sellers among other dubious business practices. The daft thing is, a simple Google can find the same products cheaper from the original vendor, you just have to be prepared to spend a couple of mins looking, and that's...

Yep, I don't disagree with any of that Adrian. I thoroughly dislike the rabble rousing and misinformation that Musk spouts, particularly about the 'state' of the UK, of which he clearly knows very little and just regurgitates X based lies, but taking his personality aside, I like what he does...

    Probably Bye for now...

Fully agree with you Andy, as you know I'm in the same boat living rurally. I work from home, as does SWMBO, and we have two teenagers and all that goes with their digital usage, as well as media services moving to streaming, and my only 'physical' internet option is damp aluminium overhead...

Yep agreed, but I don't know if regional interpretations come into play because everyone I've ever asked from around where I was brought up (Manchester) all agreed 'thing' was what they used.

I'm a staunch defender of the English language and correct grammar, but I have been challenged and prepared to change my mind on the odd occasion. One thing I will never change my stance on is punctuation! I discuss this with my kids regularly when they ask me why I insist on typing my messages...

That's the problem though Mike, the rules were/are arbitrarily determined by some random at some point nobody can remember and aren't documented, as is proved by the many different sources, Dictionaries etc., of truth... Suzy is the preeminent source on this subject so Carruthers may dislike...

Help please with RJ45 - RJ11 cable problem

Yup, which is why I'm trying to engineer the complexity out of it. Sadly that needs two things, time/money, neither of which I am flush with right now unfortunately.

Well, that day didn't go to plan.

Well it really all depends what kind of stuff you like, or may like if you tried it. I was thinking specifically 'Yellowstone', a drama about Montana cattle ranchers in modern day, but it also then goes into prequels, of which we're watching '1923' right now. Some really interesting topics...
