• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

I tried to say Congratulations re Rory’s arrival but Tapatalk won’t let me.
I’d used an emoji that it didn’t seem to like and it flashed up an error message.
In the past when this has happened I just delete the emoji and post without it but for some reason I cannot post a reply with whatever I try to send.
Anybody else experience this problem?

Is the problem persisting Rod? Usually SQL errors mean that the forum ISP is having a problem. These normally clear by themselves but you can check here to see if they have a known problem.

PS It could be that Tapatalk is having a problem instead so you could always try a normal browser and see if you get the same error.

I’ve tried it again and it still won’t let me send anything but it’s ok on other topics.
I’ll try on my computer later
Actually tried on my phone using Safari and worked ok - must be Tapatalk

Yep it’s Tapatalk. The post has emojis in it that SQL doesn’t like so even though you have deleted your emoji it doesn’t like the existing unsupported ones.

I had a brief look into it, loads of posts talking about the same and no solutions so I’m not wasting any time on it.

Cheers
Mark

Thanks Mark - normally if I get that message I delete the emoji and it sends.
This time it wouldn’t send no matter what I tried.
I shall have to remember not to include them.

Happy Easter
