• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

    Sad News

Hi Folks Not sure if you any of you knew Kieran Binnie, he went by the name" Over The Wireless" on social media and his blog. Sadly, he took his own life over the weekend. He was a talented woodworker, amongst other skills, and will be sorely missed. Philly

How to make a boxed plane

Very similar (although I don't use animal glue - I'm a fan of PU) and I'm also not afraid to use my table saw with grooving. The reality is that most people these days will never us a plane enough to justify the adding of boxing but let's be honest, it looks cool! Here's taking it to the next...

Hi Folks I got nudged the other day by a member that I haven't been about on the forum. So here I am :D I'm sure some of you remember me from the old days and other might know of me from my making planes as "Philly Planes". I'll do my best to drop by more often and try and help out if I can...
