• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Dare I - after last time: Parkside at Lidl

Far superior and a shame Mr Phillips at all didn't use that idea initially. I find for my volume fabrication a Wera diamond bit and a trade pack of pozi is however more cost-effective route

Eurovision was actually watchable with his soft gentle annihilation of the other nations acts.

    Clamps

I have some 36" F-clamps but the distortion makes them pretty much unusable if you need glue squeezed out. A solution to slippage would be a preferable route for my wallet.

Aldi do a 100% peanut butter 1kg which is the best price around. Hated the stuff as a kid but health scare has forced me to change my ways and this stuff has no salt, sugar or palm oil thrown in,so it's actually a very reasonable route to protein. It's only downside is with no palm oil it...

    Marmite

The blue topped low salt type is still readily available but has a stiff consistency even when warm and is comparatively tasteless. The high salt content has led to a ban in parts of Europe. Bovril is rendered cow,Marmite is rendered yeast. Different source but same process I remember when they...

A few pics before going to work.

There was a you tube vid with one of these during setup It was supposed to tour the site mapping it's territory but it started off by mowing a hexagram on the guys lawn. Another incident was a software bug( they can be updated - or even controlled- remotely by the manufacturer) which caused...

You can't be too careful of course,( you can actually) but virus deployment is considered lame nowadays. It's cyber attacks that are cool and more rewarding

    Hot cup mark on table

I've seen it done with success - meths set alight. No more spectacular than a Christmas pudding or an alcoholics cremation.

What should I cut this brass sheet with?

Many decades ago as an apprentice I had to mill some square section brass runners and as soon as they were released from the clamps they buckled and warped like Wickes timber.
