Most enjoyed this film but disturbed.
I am some what disturbed with the similarity at present.
You may not be concerned with the orange man **** but living next to the devil I am enraged,
You will ban me but I have kept my mouth shut too long, as many family members don't want to talk about, What the hell is wrong with everyone, you will be judged after the fall of Trump. Sorry but not Sorry, personally pissed off!!

A s a secondary thought , I have lost family members in WW2 fighting this bullshit. As many of you have , this situation may not continue.

Politics and religeon are often taboo on forums but I agree - hes taken thirty percent off my pension annuity quotes and now I am going to watch every penny.
Thats before I put diesel in the van.
Thats before I think of anyone else like the Ukrainians or Palestinians.
Or the environment
Once hes gone it could be Vance and that will be much worse.
I too cannot see how everyone is so unconcerned with this loony

Although I do agree wholeheartedly I strongly suggest to leave politics out of this forum. It is way too valuable as a source of information, learning and entertainment (e.g. that really fantastic thread on threading or your thread on your wonderful lake-side spot) to be spoiled by such things. Sadly, I have seen more than one forum go down the drain because of it. It would be a shame if that were to happen with this forum.

Duke, my family was driven from their home in Hungary after WWII and has never been able to return to our estate. We lost quite a few during and after the war, so I fully understand the sentiment. But still, I feel it would be best to focus on the good things we see here on this forum every day. However frustrating that might feel.

Society progresses in wave. Sometime it goes the way we see as positive. Sometimes it doesn't. This is just one of those times...

Decisions have consequinces.
'Orange' decision has increased our fuel costs by at least 30%, which increases the farm production costs (diesel), transport of food goods and other delivery costs.
The major portion of our inhabitants rely on taxis for transport. Their wages do not increase to cover those costs. (Wife pays her cleaning lady a seperate taxi allowance which then filters through to me in the household expenses which I fund.
My pension certainly does increase over night to cover this.

When I am in my workshop, I must!, concentrate on being safe!. Allowing outside distractions, could be deadly.
Therefore, all the outside world, and it's troubles, are left , upstairs. Basement workshop. It is my time of, relaxation, and enjoyment.
This forum is the same. A quiet, dignified, calm, sane, look into others who share wood. My escape from 'upstairs', if you will.
Keep it as it is.
