Curvy plinth

Started a small job today, a curved plinth for a shower tray. It makes a change to get something out of the ordinary as I have just been boxing pipes in over the past few days. It is constructed in MRMDF and will be painted white to match the shower tray.

Alan, Are you using laminations of thin mdf here? I can't see any kerf cuts.
On reflection kerf cutting on mdf would possibly be too fragile.

It should work fine, what glue have you used?

I am just hoping I have allowed enough for the spring back once it's out of the clamps. I use the waterproof PVA Peter.

Well it looks half decent and there was about 1 1/2" spring back which isn't too bad as it will be flexed into place and that should hold it in place.

Thanks Mailee I thought it may have some spring back with the PVA but not an issue if as you say it will be fixed. 3mm MDF and a UF glue may hold a tighter curve if required in the future. As with all woodworking when doing it for a living make it the most cost effective way you can to suit the job. The West System is great but overkill in most circumstances.
