Dunno. Although she has light sensitive epilepsy it is not the only cause but once the physicians tell you that her exposure to florescent tubes should be kept to a minimum than you have no choice but to do something.
She spends many hours under florescent lights at school but as never had a seizure there.
I noticed last night and again just now that when the lights are switched on there is a pulsing of grey rings along the tubes for the first minute or two while they warm up. Definitely not a flicker though. I am also experimenting with different colour tubes. At the moment we have one warm white (which I do not like) and one cool daylight. Looks a little odd at the moment.
