So for me it started with a pile of floor boards, a few C16's and a need for a decent sized desk, so I bought a Router and a Chop Saw and off I went.

Then a few bed frames, and lot of shelving later...

I finally managed to get onto making a actual workspace for my self with a big push from the partner who finally got the boxes of tools out of the living room. So now we both have our own little his and hers workshops at the end of the garden as after mine was completed she also wanted a nest for her own craft stuff.

I've got a love of making all sorts of things but signed up because I am at that stage where my lack of knowledge is slowing me down and need some good advice on what I need to do to take it to the next level, like issues with getting a chuck swapped onto my lathe so I can turn the ends of things better, working with limited tools and space and my serious lack of knowledge when it comes to wood identification! So expect a few threads from me straight away and know that all your advice will be greatly appreciated!
