• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Managed this evening to get the final coat of Sadolin Super Dec on the garden room I’ve been building in my spare time for the last 3 months, it’s mainly made from recycled gear or materials I already had the main exceptions being the soffit, facia & roofing materials.

All the external trim was made in the shop with the two long back walls being cover in metal sheet that came off curtain walling I had off a job the insulation from which went in the stud walls

Just the flooring to lay & some Ash skirting to make & fit after which it’s been decided the outside will be gravel held in place with gravel grid, if anyone knows a supplier of white gravel grid at a reasonable price I’d very much appreciated a heads up.

Thanks both,

same paint I used 10 years ago and it’s only just showing signs of needing touching up.

That’s reassuring Ian, it came highly recommended & all the trim got two coats before it was installed so fingers crossed

That's a really attractively made summer house Doug, and I particularly like the colour you have chosen - very gentle on the eye.

Yep, it's quality stuff. It's what I used to specify before Bedec Barn Paint and MSP came along. I put some on a building 24 years ago, and only the south side has needed any attention.
