• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

I had been meaning to come over here and join up for quite some time, but I finally got around to doing so back in October.

I recognise a few names from the other place, so hopefully I can offer some advice and learn something at the same time.

Nice to see you here Distinterior, as I might have a question for you regarding my 275.
I did plan sending you PM on the other place about it, but it seemed that the conglomerate has made
a start on the paywall/privileges plan, though that could just be me auld laptop!

Hoping I can get back working in the shed sometime, and perhaps get to the bottom of things

I make & install made-to-measure fitted kitchens, bedrooms and office furniture as my main business as well as one- off cabinets to match.
I also have a workshop at home where a do " normal" woodworking ( when I get the opportunity, that is....😁) As well as restoration of old machinery ( Mainly Startrite, hence the picture of one of the saws that I restored and sold to a member over at the "other" place)

The restorations seem to take up the majority of what little spare time I get......I've currently got 4 Startrite table saws in various stages of getting rebuilt.

Here is the full size picture of that saw in my heading....

And an example of a kitchen I made from scratch and installed myself last year over in Suffolk...
