• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. If you go down to Lidl today

This vacuum stopped working this morning bit of a smell and some coughs so I turned it off.
I rang the number on the box and got the usual questions, followed by a few options. Within a few minutes I was connected to a very nice lady in a call centre outside Glasgow she asked about the machine, when I bought it, I explained that I did not currently have the receipt although I could access a bank statement for POP. Not necessary she said, She then transferred me to Grizzly who made the machine. Again answered in minutes, Another very nice lady who confirmed my details after a few minutes of typing she told me a replacement unit would be sent in the next 7 days. I do have to keep my tools which are still in the box as it is a unit only exchange. No more than 10 minutes start to finish.
With all the bad news about customer service I am pleased to say this was excellent.
 
Replacement motor unit delivered 4.30pm on Saturday. I think with all of the current issues this is excellent customer service.
 
any tools over £25 quid I keep the box and tape the reciept inside....

gotta say most stuff seems to last well.....
