• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Bit of a long shot; does anyone have a couple of M4mm dome headed brass nuts lurking in an old jam jar or baccy tin? They'll be part of the highly polished hasp on the current job so need to be newish, if possible. TIA - Rob

I know I haven't........

Brass is the easiest thing to polish back to a new-look. So long as they haven't been mashed up by an ill-fitting spanner I'd have thought that any old thing would do, Rob.

I agree Mike and that's what I'm after; respectable M4 domed brass nuts that haven't been mangled with a poorly fitted spanner - Rob

Hi Rob
Have you sourced these yet, if not I’ve definitely got some, I can’t get them until Monday as they are at a house I’m refurbishing near to Yeovil.
If you can wait until then let me know and we can work out getting them to you.
Harvey

That's excellent; very many thanks indeed. No desperate urgency for them yet as I'm just finishing off the drawers and have yet to do the final detail sanding before polishing. As I mentioned in the opening post, they're for a marine brass hasp where I had to remove the pin (by filing off the top) which made it too short to replace so I thought that a lump of M4 thread and a couple of highly polished domed nuts would look quite acceptable - Rob
