• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

I've recently rediscovered this link as an excellent resource for machine manuals having previously posted on TWH1

Covers a good selection of often requested but hard to find manuals.

The navigation is in French as are many of the manuals but a little help from google translation should help!
The pictures are in English though :lol:

Machines a bois = woodworking machinery.

Hopefully others will add to this thread as they find other online manual links for extinct machinery still on the secondhand market.

We now have a Dropbox account for manuals and other documents (but NOT photos)

Another good source of machine manuals is www.advancedmachinery.co.uk or "AMS" for short who have on their website ,most of the wadkin & bursgreen manuals including some that do not appear on the main wadkin site. I have found these people very helpful and knowledgeable regarding wadkin or bursgreen machine spares in the past, I belive they are all ex wadkin.

Bob it would be great idea if we could have a section were members could upload manuals ??

OK Mark, I've set up a drop box folder as an experiment to hold manuals. Dropbox has proved too slow for photo hosting but I'm hoping that individuals wanting manuals would be prepared to wait a little while to get the manuals.

I've put an inverter manual in as a test so please give it a try and see how it works for you and report back here please.

Not sure what software this forum is ran on but my old forum (MyBB) had an add on that was for uploading and sharing manual directly on the board. Maybe worth a look.

I found the manual on here for my Walker Turner Lathe circa 1934.

I've just uploaded a relatively rare machine manual to the drop box (manuals/miscellaneous) for the Lurem/Record/Metabo Maxi 26.
I often see requests for this in forums various and thanks to BR5D from UKW I have been sent a copy.

If you have not discovered our dropbox feature yet (top right button on every page) then maybe take a look at the variety of goodies in there. I bet you will learn something of use to woodworkers and related areas.
