Ive been good lately so I've treated myself
The excuse to anyone else is that I've been handling more than my share of sheet material recently and the original one supplied with the machine has showed it's limitations.

On Amazon for a few pennies less than temu and. 1% discount for accepting it next week instead of next day ( it arrived next day anyway).
There are very few plastic parts otherwise all metal and weighs over 1.6kg so it feels good quality too.
I attempted to calibrate it but someone else had beaten me to it


It has 10mm of micrometer adjustment on the stop

and a good array of presets
Not the top level but a monumental upgrade over the Evolution afterthought
My sawdust generating facility is alfresco so with the clouds now on full drain mode I can't try it out

Mitre guage for table saw/other
It was 43 English folding notes.
It can make a TS behave like a Mitre saw especially when cutting oversize boards and sheets.
Gives stability when presenting the end of an oblong sheet to the saw fence.
Would have been a lifesaver in one instance lately when I had all three mite saws set up for specific cuts and I needed to quickly lop off a slither from a batten.

Did a quick look in the Amazon app and nearest (if not the one) I found was a VEVOR at 44.90... is that the make Martin .

I got one from Temu, a low price *catch you to reel in* for future purchases... 15 folding if I remember... couple of years ago. It's ok, better than what came with the R255TBL - but that's not hard to better - but has limits in my small workspace. This is it adjusted to fit in a drawer

That red one is the one I would have gone for but in the current chaos I have to endure I feared the detent latch would be too vunerable
I'm not sure what else the £100+ ones have to offer- no doubt I'll be finding out eventually

Well impressed
The only downside is that unlike the original it can't be locked in the tslot for sled-only movement but I think this could be remeded with a tapped hole and thumb wheel somehow

Hi Martin... I thought that was the case with the red one I got and posted the pic of. I found that if I removed one of the washers, top black one in the photos, then it gave enough thread to be able to be locked in the sled. If concerned about marking the top bit an ordinary washer could be used. I only do this when needing to use the sled. Depends if yours is similar to this

It has little "wheels" at each end that engage with the wider part of the taller
Can't see how I could perform that trick
It's no big deal anyway as it's extra travel when the sled has reached the end of its track.

Ah! Okay... I did wonder about the silver knob at the back - but now see it's a thicker piece it helps to clamp down on - I'm guessing.. Oh well! Hopefully someone here can come up with a way to adapt it
