Old Oak
I knocked this up from oak and cherry I had knocking about the legs where cut from a piece of cherry, it was big enough to cut into 4 legs, but the amount of knot holes ment it was very difficult to shape the grain changed direction every inch or so.
The oak top was easy to make I just cut of a piece and tidied it up leaving some of the sapwood on and cut some chamfers.
I had to buy a 29mm Forster bit for the holes I bought a tct one from Amazon and it cut the oak like butter I was well impressed.
I glued it up with some rosewood wedges and gave it a couple of coats of danish oil and waxed it.
