• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Clever stuff. When ready for final assembly will you slide the boxes in from above then attach the top? How will you attach the boxes?
Hi

I popped the boxes on the floor, put the legs on upside down, the flipped upright before adding the top

Using cross dowel connectors and threaded insert nuts...

Still cant see Tapatalk images. :(

Phil, Everything looks OK on the two browsers I have access to (safari and firefox).

Do you have access to alternative browsers or devices?

I few things I have picked up from a few google searches.

Do you have an add blocker? If so switch it off, clear cache history etc and try again?

Does you browser enable you to block images from certain websites. Please check. This is possible in Firefox.

The original images are very large, 4,160px × 2,340px, although these have been scaled down to 600px × 338px is it possible that there is a timeout issue here waiting for images to load?

Thanks Rod, I think Phil is having problems viewing images hosted on Tapatalk rather than actually using Tapatalk.

Ok, sussed it out.

Quote the post and get the URL

Paste this in another open window, and ............. then the pic appears. 8-)

Go back to forum and, guess what, the images appear.

Looks like my system first needs to see a Tapatalk image somewhere else before showing it up on the forum.

Not a major issue.

(Get another Brexit and election to push the Xrate down to 12:1 then a holiday becomes feasable! )

Thanks for letting us know Phil. You shouldn't have to go through all that to view Tapatalk images though. Is you current browser upto date? Have you another browser you can try?

Andy, Firefox seems to update itself quite regularly, maybe I will force an update.
I also tried Chrome, but still cannot see the pics. Not a fan of Chrome or IE.

Phil

Updated Firefox and W7

I think I have found the problem.

When copying the URL to view the pic I get this screen below which I then have to go through the “I’m not a robot” routine.

It is not just a tick but a picture and I then have to tick the boxes containing a car or street sign or shoes or whatever ……… before I can view the URL pic. Sometimes 3 lots of picture clicks.

Such a pain, but once through this performance the Tapatalk pics on the forum can be seen.

I use Avira protection which scans and does what it has to do, so not sure now how to get around this problem. Luke Filewalker does an auto scan every other day.

Dear Andrew,

I think that everyone on the forum appreciates what the mods do, although not always shown. :D

I am sure that the fleas from a thousand camels will not be visiting your tail- :eusa-liar:. Just watch out as you pack for the US of A

Phil

Are you ready for the Trump interrogation at the airport??
