• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Vulnerability...

A suggestion if I may ? If your charger can charge the batteries ( without them falling or losing contact ) when it is fixed to a wall, when you find it, fix it to a wall. Your chainsaw(s) in my case they are plural, are also much easier to find and harder to misplace , if they too are slipped over hooks or sections of broom handle fixed to a wall. Some, the small ones used for tree trimming, that can be used one handed via a handle on top, ( in France they are for élagage ) have a bracket built in, so that they can be hung from a belt or harness while one is working up a tree, or susceptible to forgetting where they last were used :) .The sensible and cautious amongst us* switch them off before attaching them to our belts or harnesses, even when not up a tree. Cover doesn't matter so much, because one always wears gloves** when doing anything with a chainsaw.

and
** sounds like your mate Bob , un lutin de sécurité ..elf 'n' safety***doesn't really translate , but that is near enough ( for jazz ) . ;)

Falling over or down when we are older, is bad for us, the shock is bad enough, the shock can come back later again, and affect your confidence .

Take care .

*** Nearest would be " l'inspection du travail" but they are really for salaried workers , or to ensure that people are not working illegally or undeclared, or unsafely. They ( like the URSSAF, Fisc and Douanes ) have wide ranging powers and are absolutely best avoided.

If you are self employed on your own, or pottering about at home on your own, you are free to do all the "conneries" you can come up with. :)
