• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

    Axminster Newcastle

Well to tell the truth I did have a spare blade but the workshop is a little untidy, with Axminster just up the road it was much easier to go buy a new blade rather than find the spare. It took me over an hour to find the blade. It is a shame it has closed but at least they deliver.

    Axminster Newcastle

I have not had much time for woodworking lately or leatherwork for that matter, needing to cut something on my bandsaw when the blade snapped. Needing to complete the job I nipped to Axminster in North Shields (Newcastle) only to find it closed. Just in case anyone travels Google says it is open.

    Gate adjustment

Have you tried lifting the end of the gate with a long lever or a car jack. This would let you know if there is any play at the base of the post. If as you suspect the screws are for adjustment then lifting the end of the gate will make adjustment easier.

When I purchased my track saw I thought it was the best thing ever. My recent bed project has showed me that like many things it is only as good as the monkey using it.
