• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Don't be too quick to judge. You're probably looking at the last knockings of a business going under

    Blood pressure

I keep a general interest in my BP readings but am not fanatical about it since they fluctuate throughout the day and night. As long as they are broadly within the 'healthy' range then I'm happy. I'm on Felodipine 5mg. It's a slow-release. After a while I noticed that come the evening and...

Ah, thought so. Just wanted to check to see if I was missing anything. Your putting 'second' in bold made me think you'd done some definitive peer-reviewed research ;)

Or even as children. With the current focus on the weather and high temperatures, there's been a fair bit of archive material footage of beaches over the past decades. The most significant change is that nearly everyone is fat now. Children as well. No excuses TBH.

Do you have the reference for that statement Rob?

But surely that assumes that all readings are accurate and all the time. Bit like having a dodgy tyre pressure meter.

A lot depends on whether it's humid or not, IMO.

Spot on, John. You beat me to it. There is no way a watch...no matter how smart...can provide an accurate BP reading

Geberit Type 240 and Type 340 mechanisms

Thanks Frank but that link quickly goes back to the standard (and frankly useless) video. I think Geberit need to rebrand as Gibberish’s

Doh....just asked ChatGPT. Damn good starting point but all help still very welcome

Geberit Type 240 and Type 340 mechanisms

Just staring blankly at the 'instructions'. I use the term loosely as they are only pictures but there's a load of settings to be worked out. When did toilets get so up themselves with complexity. Has anyone fitted one, please, and can enlighten me ?

Very well done our local NHS

Possibly. Both ex military and so reasonable enough to assume similar physical factors during their working life. But my sister is having her first knee op on the 29th. She's already had both hips done. Genetics ? Nah. She's just clinically obese and there's 1.5 of me to her weight...if...

    Conversion - bathroom to en-suite

Thank you. Got there in the end but not helped by the awful fixing screws they use and/or the malformed thread in the frame fixed to the glass.

A fair point but I’m working on the all metal frame fixed to the tiles. It’s harder to do than I thought
