• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

    22 Shelves for Slat Walls

    FIrst off is to break down the 3/4" - 4x8' ply sheets using my poor man's track saw. Then cut the width on the table saw.

    Much needed smaller sliding compound miter saw.

    Over the years my 12" saw was a chore to get to upper levels for home renos, so this is much needed and will save me endless trips outside to make cuts. I don't make purchases on a whim so no regrets. Tried it out in the shop and works fine.

    Hewing broad axe and 1" slick.

    From the local flea market. The slick has never been used. Started to make it usuable, cast steel with a lamination. Will come in handy early Fall.

    Barn Man Door - lets use what materials are available.

    Maybe 80 to 100 years or more ago this door was made. Can't say it is with clenched nails but close. Flatened nails on one side. None the less the door has held up well.

    Needed a trammel quick.

    I am in need of a trammel for scribing door arches for the job site tomorrow. At 8:30pm today I remembered, so out to the shop to scrounge for parts.
