That marking gauge isn't a common style, at least, not over here. Is it one that's designed for marking the back edge of door butts/hinges, relative to the back of the rebate?

From a Stanley catalogue: the no 92 works as a butt gauge and a mortise gauge and was the most expensive option

Thanks Andy, there are parts missing on mine which are B and C. I had no luck in finding a video regarding its use.
