• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

My wife is not too keen on me fitting the new window during the winter and suggested Spring next year, work is busy & the another reason is that the Dormer that its being fitted to has some issues with the lower timbers of the side dormer post looking like they will need replacing prior to the window being fitted & external cladded, new window has no glass yet & been treated to single external weather coating and is currently stood upright off the matted workshop floor on bits of timber.
I have another window the same fit that I have just started & machined the top, side, base rails and mullions I was going to just finish frame, paint it single coat and store the same or just stop now & store timbers flat in the loft on blocks but I’m guessing they may move a bit but again its dry and not too cold as its insulated.

The workshop is dry and insulated there is a radiator in there albeit switched off, windows are approx. 1.2m x 0.9m two casement affair.

What’s your thoughts? am i just over thinking it all & worrying over nothing

Windows will be subject to seasonal humidity changes once fitted anyway so I wouldn't worry too much about where you keep it, you could probably even keep it outside under cover, obviously it's best to keep it from getting overly wet.

Thats great, i just look at my work load at work and think OMG where is the time for anything else. Its a little reasurance from those who know their subject.
