An eBay con?

Had to come look to see what was happening on ebay and it turns out it's cars instead

I did buy a new car recently - a Skoda Superb and very nice it is too. It has keyless start and entry - just leave the key in your pocket.

You can accidentally leave the fob in the car and lock it. If you do the car detects the key is inside and cracks the boot open but does not lift the door. that means if you know it is unlocked you can just open the boot and get in through it (hatchback and estate there is no saloon).

And it does lock the doors when you start moving but it is all definable in the menu settings.

Driving a loan car from the garage....an Audi A3 convertible. Discovered that it automatically locks the doors when you shut the drivers door. Luckily I had the key in my pocket. No manual inside the car but a quick look through the multitude of options on the Confuso-meter in the car doesn't show any option to disable.

Winbags? seem like a solution looking for a problem. Whatever happened to folding wedges?

Speed and flexibility. The guys fitting my windows had some and I asked how good they were.

He's a professional window fitter doing this stuff every hour of every day and said he would never go back to wedges as these are slimmer to get in the smallest of gaps that, more flexible, no chance of damaging windows or frame, easier to adjust when alone, the list went on...

I'm going to take his word for it...

Winbags and folding wedges provide two completely different functions. Winbags are temporary and used to support a door or window while you then apply permanent fixtures such as folding wedges.

They are excellent, I had 4 - you just have to be careful where you drill for your fixings! I now have two windbags and two ex windbags!!
