• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

If the seat is 4 foot square you must have a huge backside to balance the wedding tackle

Richard

It's made to account for a range of buttock generosities!

I don't know what you mean Phil, that's in my kitchen and it's a 4 foot square top… :eusa-whistle:

Not the 4ft m2 but the area for the welding equipment.

And if thats in your kitchen, never peee-offf the wife.

Very smart! Looks fairly manageable for a first build when my 'shop is done - not sure it would set the right tone with the Mrs who is already tiring of my build! :?

The irony is, I'm a kilt wearer myself and am sorely tempted to make a couple for nothing more than the novelty value! [emoji2]

PS I'm well aware that isn't irony at all but I like the phrase and couldn't think of any better right now!

I just looked at this again and did some rough mental maths. If that top was 12' square then that would make the 'welding rod' slot at least one twelfth, so it if was indeed 4' square then that would make the sausage slot 4" across.

If you're of belief that is small then I hope to God I never share a prison cell with you!!! [emoji2]

Depends on whether he is a 'shower' or a 'grower'

Careful, guys, my mum reads this forum ;) *

*Yeah, really. It's her best way of finding out what's going on with my build.

You probably need a Winter chair and a Summer chair to cater for seasonal changes.

Why not do a plaster cast - then it will be true to scale? [emoji3]

Are you a Scotsman then Mark or a creature of fashion - what tartan do you wear?

Bit of both Rod. Family on my Mum's side is Scot's and family tartan is Sutherland but I'm not a fan so for my wedding I had a custom kilt suit made in charcoal grey.

Very smart though socks needed pulling up! [emoji3]

My paternal Grandmother was a Scot though I never traced that side of my family back. My maternal Grandmother always thought her family Vasey originated from Scotland but I could only trace them back to the NE.
I wore a kilt etc to a nephew's wedding who married a lassie from Kilcurdy but I didn't go commando. I was trying to get the Scot tartan but the hire shops only supply a very limited range.

I am not quite sure what to say after looking at the photo. I know if I was there I would have burst out laughing though. Not sure if it is the Nora Batty socks, shaved legs, doc martins, shades or the skirts. :D Bet you had a great day though.
