Marked bushic....I think, writing is faint and my eyes are carp.

Just guessing, but I wonder if it's a saw blade broken off from a multi-blade penknife, frugally saved and inserted into a new handle? Maybe still waiting for the special job to arrive for which it is finally needed...

Now you mention it, it does look like a blade from a cheapo " fishermans knife".

I don't see how it could be that, Bob, the teeth don't go right to the end, it would muck it up.

That hollow at the end makes me think it could, indeed, be a blade of an old Swiss Army knife. That hollow could be the remnant of a pivot hole.

Well, I have been tidying up a book case for a charity shop where I volunteer, I get donated items, bring them home and try to add a bit of value before returning.

Today it was a nice pine bookcase that someone had covered the backing board with fabric, this was dirty and smelly. Removed lots of staples with my tack removal tool , I was sceptical that it would be any good but it was perfect for the job.
