• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

I got an email from ebay this morning with a 20% off code for any item purchased with paypal today. thought it might have been one of these things they send out to people that haven't been spending enough but the code is all over the bargain sites so it must work for anyone.

Code is CTWENTY and you enter it during checkout

and has a maximum value of £50 so something for £250 would cost £200 with the voucher.

I'm struggling to think of anything I need to use it....
 
Ok i found something :)

Just bought a Record Power DX4000 extractor refurb from record for £219 after the voucher. Not convinced its the perfect choice for extraction but my old industrial vac has started struggling to clear the P/T of chips lately. guess I could sell it if it is too noisey.
 
Anything is how it reads to me but must be paid with paypal before midnight - its a paypal promotion I guess.

There were posts on hot uk deals that they pulled the code early because of over use!

I got my £50 off a £269 purchase... that I probably wouldn't have bought without the incentive.
 
Oh well, never mind. Sounds like it may have been a bit like the Hoover tickets to America promotion all those years ago.

I got the offer from EBay last night, long after they had pulled it!

Very weak excuse when you try to contact them but they did say this is one of many to be offered - oh yeh!!
Not if they tell you after the event!

A big box just arrived from record power not much over 24 hours from clicking buy it now.

Will open it later as things to do now that are more important.....so I'm told :(
