• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. Maybe I’ll pose a different question
Anyone recommend a different supplier of 100mm flexi hose that they are happy with, or any to avoid. More interested in buying decent quality than saving a couple of quid, but also not interested in paying over the odds

It's a real shame you're not closer as I have one of those large garden Karcher (?) tool stores full of the stuff + adapters. It will be going to the tip simply because it's not worth the cost of shipping anywhere and the fag of trying to find a way to wrap it up..

I opted for the heavy duty blue hose which seems more substantial than the standard stuff I bought from Dust Spares a few years ago.
I liked the fact that they sold it by the metre not in fixed lengths like Dust Spares so for the amount I wanted it worked out cheaper.

Yes that’s a shame but there must be a member your way that can make use of it?

That’s really useful, I wonder if the 2 different grades sold by the company you link to are the same 2 grades at dust spares as both the heavy duty hoses at both companies have that blue tinge. I do like that you can buy the length you need

I think they’re the same, Aries had a cheaper minimum order for free delivery if I remember correctly plus their spiral ducting fittings came with a rubber seal for not much more money than Dust Spares plain spigoted ones which I thought was worth the extra, I was happy with the quality of everything I received from them.
