• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Been lurking ever since Roger S told me about this forum. Only just registered as I believe Roger referred to me in a recent post and thought I should reply as he's now gone North :)

Hi Mark

Glad you found us ! There are some very active turners here although I don't quite see the fascination for the spinney-side ;)

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the forum.

I am in the process of turning some Christmas presents, that are not bowls!

I stood and watched you at the European Woodworking Show.

Thank you for the welcomes.

Mark
No problem with the delay in approving me. Just thought I'd done something wrong :)

Sorry I can't picture you; Had many watching at the EWS17 and I have a memory like a sieve :)

I found this forum when you told me about it years ago. Been lucking just to follow your antics which always keep me amused :D :D "spinney-side"? Typical comment from a flat worker :text-lol:

Welcome from another forum newbie!

Oooh, spinny things..... something else to have a crack at! :D

A very warm welcome from a sunny hot (33c) SA.

Good to see a turner added to the spinney forum.

The best is to not take too much notice of Roger. It was his attitude that got him banned to the w e t North.
