• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Just what the Dogs wanted!

Get up this morning and the Dogs think it's great!

Huh.

That's not snow. Merely a coverlet for a hobbit's toes.

My hound could only proceed this morning by a series of galvanic leaps. She loved it mind you.

And yet again I am vindicated in keeping a pair of skis by the back door.

:P

we had a snow warning vey late last night, even Edinburgh should see some snow today and we get very little even when everywhere esle is feet deep. We have our own micro-climate don't cha know

Ha ha....I know all about micro-climates. We get all the rain that Cumbria doesn't want.

And so that it doesn't feel left out, all the rain that Northumberland doesn't want either.

Years ago, we had a couple of basset hounds which are, as you know, rather close to the ground. Both dogs. We had some deep snow once and they wanted to go out. Ever seen an icicle hanging down from ....best not go there ? :o

In the snow, your dogs look awfully like polar bears, Dave. They did come from a reputable breeder?

:D You just beat me to that comment.

Oh yes, they are brother and half sister. Unfortunately Skye's dad passed away but they've the same mum. They are Samoyeds and are both registered with the kennel club.
They often get called polar bears or clouds! The kids from the local schools will mob them given the chance.
Of course everything of ours has a bit of white fluff on it.
