• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Congratulations, Bill....I think we were married in '79. Not too sure TBH. Or the date

I thought that being as we got married on a bank holiday it would be easy to remember the date. Problem is it was the late summer BH and the date keeps changing. Only 23 yrs, I think.

Oct 26 for us, 1981. If you Google Oct 26 1881, you'll find it's the 100th anniversary of the gunfight at the OK Coral. We even got married at almost the same time...'nuff said - Rob

Thank you all for the kind words..RodgerS, I am the one who always remembers the day and year, my wife does have difficulty at times ;) . Long version..were to be married on a Sat.the 24th of May..on Tuesday before I was struck by a Buick while riding my Harley-Davidson  . Was on the way home. Spent 22 days in the hospital..broken femur, cuts, bruises, the whole lot.. lost 34 lbs also..do not recommend this method of weight loss!! Carried a pin in said leg for 1 1/2 yrs. We were married 'on schedule' ,in the hospital! I could not escape! Anyway, I recovered OK. Did ride some borrowed machines after that, but never bought another. This is why it is easy for me to remember the date. Hope all is well with all of you, and thanks again. bill
