• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Having to make an emergency dash down to Penrith to get some more Little and Greene paint made up for the decorating lass, I needed a bit of TLC and ended up buying these three rather handy chisels



And in comparison to a normal chisel



I'm hoping that they're going to be a little bit more comfortable in my gradually increasingly arthritic hands.

Little and Green is stocked by G & S Specialist Timber..a turning and carving emporium. Little and Greene paint is just superb. Nothing like Farrow and Ball which is like making love in a canoe. Talking to my decorating lass, she tells me that most decorators now will price a job to include putting on three coats of F&B if the customer is insistent that their cr*p paint is used.
 
I'll echo your comments about little greene paint. I think it's the nicest paint I've ever used ! Those chisel handles do look comfortable [emoji847][emoji6]

I was looking at some Narex chisels at Peter Sefton’s yesterday, the handles are certainly chunky, I ended up investing :eusa-whistle: in some Woodpecker & Incra gear :eusa-shifty:
 
I bought a set of Narex last year - superb to hold and work. Great investment, and mine are going to last much longer now cos I ain't going to be using them much! :P

Nope, they're not for sale!
