• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

Its your clog wearing woodworking friend Dave, glad to be back on line.
It will take me a little while to set up my profile, but the clog will be back 8-)
I have not been totally idell while waiting for the return of the Woodhaven, but will need to use a machine with a proper keyboard instead of this table to post some details :!:

I use Tapatalk on my BlackBerry, I read on that, I do read and post from my tablet but for major inputting I still go back to the PC.
I am off now to get the link set up in Tapatalk. :D
 
Instead of starting a new thread I'm back again - known as Rod (that's my name) and previously known as such :)

Glad it's up and running

Not done much woodworking this year as I was diagnosed with bowel cancer earlier, underwent successful surgery and now in hospital again having my temporary Ileostomy reversed. So another few months of inactivity - but the future looks bright!

I've just created a test user, made no posts, and connected to Tapatalk fine first time. Can read all posts. Clumsy fingers Rod…? :P

I don't know about tapatalk, but it certainly works fine from my desktop. I'm glad to see the site is here. Now to poke around my profile and see about getting my usual avatar set up...

Thanks folks - it could be clumsy fingers but I am doing this in bed? :)

Will try again later - the hospital has free reasonably fast internet which is great for passing the time.
Hopefully should be out soon - waiting for my " system " to work again which I've been warned is an interesting experience!
