• Hi all and welcome to TheWoodHaven2 brought into the 21st Century, kicking and screaming! We all have Alasdair to thank for the vast bulk of the heavy lifting to get us here, no more so than me because he's taken away a huge burden of responsibility from my shoulders and brought us to this new shiny home, with all your previous content (hopefully) still intact! Please peruse and feed back. There is still plenty to do, like changing the colour scheme, adding the banner graphic, tweaking the odd setting here and there so I have added a new thread in the 'Technical Issues, Bugs and Feature Requests' forum for you to add any issues you find, any missing settings or just anything you'd like to see added/removed from the feature set that Xenforo offers. We will get to everything over the coming weeks so please be patient, but add anything at all to the thread I mention above and we promise to get to them over the next few days/weeks/months. In the meantime, please enjoy!

What the hell does this mean please?

I write as a partial digital Neanderthal. I wrote C code and Basic back in the 'oul' days, but prioritised other things nearly 40 years ago as better(?) minds than mine were making life easier to just use a package.
This cryptic offering is now popping up increasingly frequently when I try to check the progress of something on eBay. I don't buy prolifically, but this nonsense is really fractionally more fun than slamming my head in a door....

It seems that Ebay are forever trying different login checks justified on the grounds of increased protection for users.
I access ebay from up to 4 platforms and when convenient from 2-3 different browsers and invariably have to do a login captchar (SP) test nearly every time. For all those platforms, I going through the same internet connection and the same IP address Grrr!

Thanks, Bob. I have a Redmi 'phone and, so far, it is the only 'platform' affected.

I do have a strong suspicion said item (a Xiaomi product,) and ones like it are being targeted by Sino-phobes on the Ebay software side, given all the negative publicity regarding Chinese electronic 'snooping' and inflitration.

It might the sort of think that google might be worth searching. Possibly doing an image search with the pic in your first post?

It worked! I HAD "cleared the cache" in a general sense, for a separate issue yesterday, but I.Q-barely-into-double-digits me, I forgot apps have their own. I owe you again, Roger.
