One of our 3 metre squares is called Support. Identify. Confusion. Sums me up

the woodwork shop is "alleyway.viewers.hedge" and "responses.lamps.extremely"

Not quite sure of what to make of this other than the novelty factor??

They seem to have overlooked that we have a perfectly good deterministic way of location eg Lat Long which can be used with something like a sat nav. whereas no sat nav can realistically have a database big enough to hold this scheme so it would have to be web connected.

But I think this might be aimed at the Third World more than us. The one thing that intrigues me is how would a postman know how to sort his mail !

Exactly - there is no obvious reverse lookup as the words seem to be randomly allocated rather than contiguous squares sharing two words and just the third changing.

Incidentally Lat long works in 3rd world too! and the postman could sort by numbers alone

Accoring to their blurb

Offline. It functions without a data connection. This solves a perpetual constraint when in remote and unaddressed locations, or in areas with poor connectivity.

Doesn't say how though.

Interesting though. Perhaps Roger can road test with his next yodel delivery?

Their response to that is that words are easier to remember than numbers and

Validation.
The 3 word addresses have been pre-assigned in a very specific way so as to offer a built-in validation system to correct input errors.

It is...I saw some reference to people living in the favela's in Rio who have no postal address, but can have a 3x3m patch of the earth where their parcels and post can be sent to - Rob
