My current refurb project of an old try plane is making progress but I've discovered that the chipbreaker will need a considerable amount of work to bring it up to snuff:

It's well out of square at both ends, but more worryingly, the threaded bolt is now very loose in the brass insert. I could fix the actual chipbreaker itself but the bolt/thread combo is beyond my measly metal bashing capabilities. Does anyone have a 2.5" (64mm) wide woodie chipbraker which is surplus to requirements? TIA - Rob
