A while back I bought a book from a UKw member as an afterthought. It's called 'No Money In My Pocket' and is the autobiography of cabinetmaker David H Coleman.
I am painfully shy of knowledge but really enjoyed the read. Very much 'of a time', but covers his apprenticeship, hide glues and trying to always make money despite the best efforts of a Local Bank Manager. Remember them?
Tell you what I'll leave it there and let you decide but here's the thing, I'm more than happy to pass it on for free but if if you read it can you pass it on and cover the postage to the next member? Will that work?
Just out of interest I googled his name and found this video.

First one to reply gets it. Please do the right thing and pass it on in the same manner after. I think some of you guys willl get a lot out of this book, it would be nice if we can pass it on lightly.
Best regards,
Chris
