Add the colour, blacken the groove (burnt?), sand back the rim?

you might hate me for this, I hate myself a little bit.
but my PBass (Squier, I'm cheap) currently has a PETG 3D printed nut on it.![]()
no way I'd gig with it, but it's held up ok for the past few months with some playing.

it's fine by me, if it works it works, squiers can be pretty good these days.

It's a 96 and you'd struggle to tell the difference to the "real" thing. It's right about the right time for squiers when they really awarded to get close. Last time I played in public was far to long ago to mention.

The fabric is sewn in a loop, and a dowel keeps the loop from pulling through the slot between the upper and lower rail.

I've got an 80s Japanese Squier Strat. Nice.

Pete, I like the choice of glass for the shelves. Stiff enough but quite thin, so taking minimum space. Did you have to get them specially made? I assume they are toughened glass.
I'd agree; no need to go to the additional expense of toughened - RobCabinetman":2eujghch said:Good idea to have glass shelves but I’m sure you don’t actually need to go to the expense of toughened glass, ordinary 6? Mil with polished edges was what I used in large glass display cabinets for years, particularly in the situation you are using them with very little weight on them ordinary will be fine. Ian
